What owners said after the visit
Rated 4.7 out of 5 across 49 customer reviews. All 49 are printed below, the awkward ones with the rest.

How to read these
Each entry is one visit: what failed, what was measured, what was changed and how the call ended. They are printed as they were given to us, first name and last initial. The entries that are less than glowing are printed too — a wall of nothing but top marks tells a reader nothing, and a van that has never had a part arrive wrong is a van that has never been out.
Nothing below quotes a figure. What a visit costs sits on the pricing sheet, where it can be checked against the invoice, and what happens afterwards is set out on the warranty sheet. If an entry describes the fault on your own appliance, the service sheet for that class explains how it gets diagnosed.
The figure, and where it comes from
4.7 out of 5 is the arithmetic mean of the 49 entries on this page, rounded to one decimal, and nothing else. It is not a number chosen because it looks right: the build fails if the published figure and the entries stop agreeing. The rating is emitted only on pages that print the entries it averages, so the legal sheets and the 404 carry no rating at all.
A written estimate comes before any part is ordered or any labor is billed.

Steam was escaping around the top of the oven door and had started marking the cabinet above it. He fitted a new door seal and adjusted the hinges so the door pulls square. The marking has stopped.

Water was running down the inside back wall and collecting under the crisper. He steamed out a plugged drain tube and fitted the small clip that stops it plugging again. It has stayed dry ever since.

Our ice machine had slowed to a trickle by August, which is exactly when we need it. He descaled the evaporator plate, fitted a water inlet valve that had barely been opening, and production came straight back.
Corinne F.2026-08-09
The simmer setting on our rangetop was closer to a low boil. He set the bypass screws on each valve properly, which nobody had touched since the day it was installed, and a sauce will now hold at a simmer.
Bertram S.2026-08-05
The oven kept overshooting and then coasting back down, so nothing browned the same way twice. He calibrated against a probe on the centre rack, adjusted the offset and checked recovery after the door was opened.

The downdraft would rise but never seal, so the kitchen filled with smoke anyway. He replaced the lift motor and its belt and adjusted the limit switch. It comes up fully and pulls the way it was meant to.
Zachary D.2026-07-30
Wine storage was running warm in the lower zone only. Behind the panel he found the second evaporator iced solid and a fan that had stopped turning. He cleared it, fitted a fan, and both zones hold now.
Malik H.2026-07-24
Water sat in the bottom after every cycle. He found the drain hose kinked behind the cabinet where the installer had left it and re-routed it properly. No part was needed and he told me so before touching anything.
Miles W.2026-07-19
Convection browned everything on the left of the tray and nothing on the right. He found the fan motor turning slowly under load and replaced it, then baked a tray of biscuits to prove the pattern had evened out.
Roland P.2026-07-11
The touch panel had gone dead in one corner. Rather than replace the whole assembly he traced a chafed ribbon cable behind the trim, reseated it and protected it where it passes the bracket. That saved a large part.
Imogen D.2026-07-06
It kept shutting down on a high pressure trip through the hot months. He cleaned a condenser matted with lint from the laundry cupboard beside it and moved the intake clear of the vent. No trips since.
Rosemary B.2026-06-27
The vent hood over the range had lost most of its pull. He measured airflow at the face, found the roof damper seized shut with corrosion, freed and lubricated it, then cleaned the blower housing out.
Vaughn E.2026-06-23
Our range door had dropped far enough that you could see daylight at the lower corner. He replaced the hinge springs, reset the door on the frame and then tested the seal with a paper strip all the way round.
Desmond R.2026-06-18
Our oven display lit up but no heat arrived at all. He isolated an open thermal fuse and, more usefully, found the blocked vent that had blown it. Dealing with the cause is why it has not gone again.
Hugo N.2026-06-11
Our built-in stopped holding temperature after a storm took the power out. He found the main control had lost its settings and one relay welded shut. New board, and it has ridden out two more storms since.
Beatrice L.2026-06-05
Cubes were coming out cloudy and hollow in the middle. He checked water flow across the plate, found the distributor tube partly blocked, cleaned it and set the harvest timing. They come out clear and solid.
Jasper N.2026-05-30
The oven had run nearly forty degrees cool for years and we had just learned to live with it. He measured at three points with the cavity settled, adjusted the offset and verified with a second bake.
Cecilia R.2026-05-22
Salt air had pitted the burner caps until two of them would not seat properly. He cleaned the burner bases, fitted new caps and showed me how to dry them off after a week of onshore wind.
Marlene K.2026-05-14
Detergent was being released at the wrong point in the cycle, so it never dissolved properly. He fitted a new dispenser and checked the timing at the control. Glasses are coming out clear for the first time in a year.
Silas F.2026-05-08
The griddle scorched at the front and was barely warm at the back. He found one element open and a loose connection on the second, replaced both, then checked the plate with an infrared reading end to end.
Clarissa L.2026-05-01
The dishwasher was leaving grit on everything in the lower basket. He pulled the filter assembly and the sump, cleared a build-up of glass and sand, and checked the spray arm bearings. Better, and he showed me the monthly clean.
Lucinda C.2026-04-29
The bin sensor decided the bin was full when it was empty, so we had no ice for a week. He cleaned and realigned the optic pair and checked the harvest count. Quick, and he explained what it was actually doing.
Ellis M.2026-04-16
Grease had started dripping back down onto the cooktop. He found the filters refitted the wrong way round by whoever cleaned them last and the collection tray brimming. Cleaned, refitted, and it has stayed dry.
Yolanda M.2026-04-10
The fresh food compartment climbed while the freezer stayed cold. He found the damper held part open by ice, then traced the ice back to a door seal that had lost its grip. Both were dealt with in one visit.
Vivienne A.2026-04-03
The spark kept clicking away after the burner had lit and would not stop. He fitted a new spark module and cleaned switch contacts that had gummed up over the years. Silence once it lights, which is how it should be.
Donovan R.2026-03-25
The igniter glowed but gas took a good ten seconds to catch, which had started to worry me. He measured what the igniter was drawing, found it weak and fitted a new one. It lights straight away now.
Paula V.2026-03-21
The dishwasher started tripping the breaker. He isolated a harness that had rubbed through against the frame and repaired it properly instead of taping over it. Nothing has tripped in the months since.
Rosalie K.2026-03-16
The compressor ran all day and never satisfied. He put gauges on it, showed me the low side reading and traced a restriction rather than guessing at a leak. It is cycling normally again and the bill matched the estimate.
Noelle T.2026-03-08
Self clean would not start and the oven threw a lock error at us. He rebuilt the latch mechanism and fitted a new motor, and the cycle runs. The first appointment had to be moved, which was the only sore point.
Barnaby T.2026-03-02
The ice tasted of the cabinet it sat in. He changed the filter, flushed the line and found the drain running back toward the bin. Correcting the drain slope fixed the taste, which nobody before him had spotted.
Delphine E.2026-02-26
The hood light worked but the fan did nothing at any speed. He found the speed control burnt at one terminal and replaced it, then checked the duct run length against what the blower is actually rated to move.
Willa O.2026-02-19
Freezer temperature swung several degrees over the course of a day. He read the stored faults, found the sensor in the fresh food section reading out of range and swapped it. Steady since, but the part took a week.
Sanjay D.2026-02-12
The burner is fixed and lighting properly. What I did not care for was the first man saying it was the module without measuring anything, and it taking a second visit with someone else to reach the real fault.
Gwendolyn A.2026-02-09
The cooling fan kept running long after the oven was off, sometimes right through the night. He found the thermostat that stops it stuck closed, replaced it and checked that the vent path behind the cabinet was clear.
Dominic A.2026-02-05
Frost was collecting on the underside of the freezer shelf. He found the defrost cycle cutting short because the terminating thermostat was opening early. New thermostat, and he stayed to watch a whole cycle finish.
Georgia W.2026-01-27
The door had started dropping open instead of holding halfway. He replaced both door springs and the cables that had frayed over the pulleys. It stays where you leave it and closes without slamming.
Odette G.2026-01-21
Water was leaking from underneath onto the cabinet floor. He found a split in the fill line where it had rubbed against the frame, replaced the line and added a grommet so it cannot chafe there again.
Wanda S.2026-01-15
Bake element heated but the cavity never got where it had been set. He found a torn door seal letting heat out along the top and changed that before condemning anything electrical. The setpoint holds now.
Ignacio M.2026-01-09
Makeup air was so poor that the hood pulled the back door shut on its own. He measured it, explained why the kitchen was being starved, and adjusted the setup rather than selling us a bigger blower.
Adrienne V.2026-01-03
The work itself was right, but it took far longer than it should have. The diagnosis was correct on the first visit, then the valve sat on back order for three weeks with very little contact from anybody.
Franklin P.2025-12-29
The doors had stopped pulling themselves shut and the alarm woke us most nights. He levelled the unit, adjusted the cam on both doors and replaced one tired closer. They swing shut by themselves again.
Fabian C.2025-12-16
Cycles were running for hours and never finishing. The heating circuit was open, so the water never came up to temperature and the machine simply kept waiting. New heater, and the cycle time is back to normal.
Perry H.2025-12-03
Two burners had orange tips and were sooting the bottoms of the pans. He checked gas pressure at the manifold, reset the air shutters and cleaned the ports out. Blue flames and clean pans again.
Eleanor T.2025-11-28
One burner dropped out every single time the knob was released. He replaced the flame sensing thermocouple and checked the rest of the set while he was down at that level. It has stayed lit for a month.
Terrence O.2025-11-19
The upper oven of our double stack would not climb past a low heat. He found one leg of the element open and confirmed it with a reading before ordering anything. Fitted a fortnight later and it roasts properly.
Gareth L.2025-11-04
The machine made ice but would not release it cleanly, so it packed into one sheet. He adjusted the harvest cycle and changed the water pump. That needed a second visit, otherwise it was straightforward.
Toby J.2025-10-21
A smell from the dishwasher would not shift no matter what we ran through it. He cleared the drain, replaced a check valve letting waste water back in and cleaned under the filter plate. It needed a second visit.
Tamara J.2025-10-08
The range works properly now and the diagnosis was careful, but the scheduling was a mess. Two appointments were moved before anyone arrived, and I only heard about the second one because I chased it.
Katya S.2025-09-27
The hood was loud enough that we shouted over it. He rebalanced the wheel and replaced worn bearings, which brought the noise a long way down. Not silent, and he was honest in advance about what was achievable.
