Terms of use

What this website is, what it is not, and the terms any repair work is done under.

The empty rails of a bottom-freezer drawer with the basket lifted out
What is in scope, and what is left for the electrician or the plumber.

The site is reference, not instruction

Everything published here — symptoms, tolerances, service intervals, water figures — is written to help you describe a fault accurately and decide whether to book a visit. It is not a repair manual, and it is not a substitute for the documentation that came with your appliance.

Gas and refrigerant work is dangerous and, for refrigerant, legally restricted. Nothing on this site should be read as an instruction to open a sealed system, alter a gas connection, or bypass a safety device. If a page describes a mechanism, it describes it so you know what the technician will be checking.

Figures and availability

Published figures are quoted from their sources and those sources are named on the page. Utility readings, code thresholds and part availability all change. Prices, terms and hours on this site can change without notice; the figure that governs your job is the one on your written estimate.

Service terms

  • Flat $129 diagnostic, credited toward the repair when you approve the work.
  • A written estimate comes before any part is ordered or any labor is billed.
  • 90 days on labor, 365 days on parts, genuine OEM parts only. Terms in full on the warranty page.
  • Work is offered inside a 40-mile radius of Nocatee, FL 32081, during shop hours only. No after-hours or emergency service is offered.
  • We reserve the right to decline a job — an appliance that has been previously worked on in a way that makes the outcome unpredictable, or one where a required part is not available.

Trademarks and affiliation

Greenleaf Appliance Service is an independent appliance repair company. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by Viking or its parent company. All brand names and model numbers are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the appliances we service.

Viking is named on this site only to identify the appliances we repair, which is what nominative use of a trademark is for. No manufacturer logo, brand typeface or brand colour scheme appears anywhere on this site, and no page should be read as suggesting that the manufacturer sponsored, approved or authorised this company.

Liability

This website is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Greenleaf Appliance Service is not liable for loss arising from reliance on information published here rather than on a written estimate or a technician's on-site findings. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, and any dispute belongs in the courts of St. Johns County, Florida.

Privacy is covered separately on the privacy page.
